Today, we're thrilled to unveil what will be a new report in economic development and site selection. Scout's Best Cities for Business (Texas Edition) will rank Texas cities based on data from local business reviews. At Scout, we're all about transparency, trust, and fostering connections between cities and companies. That's why we feel this report will be revered by cities and businesses alike. Here's what you need to know:

1. Data-Driven Rankings: Our report ranks cities based on validated Scout reviews. Each written by a local business and validated through their LinkedIn profile and business email. Each review collects up to 30 data points from various site selection categories.

2. Verified Reviews: Each review is authenticated through LinkedIn profiles and business emails, leaving no room for doubt.

3. Quality Assurance: Every review is validated by our Scout review verification team to ensure only genuine insights make it into the report.

4. No Cost: We don't charge cities to be featured in the report. It's all about providing objective, unbiased information.

5. Minimum Reviews: To be featured, a city must have at least 10 validated reviews from businesses operating within its jurisdiction.

6. Timing: The last day to collect reviews for this report will be February 29th, 2024. At which point, subsequent reviews will be applied to future reports.

This report is more than just a ranking; it's a testament to the power of peer insights and the hard work that economic developers do to create thriving business communities.
